International Office
The International Office serves as a primary resource for achieving global education for both Ohio Dominican students and incoming international students. The primary areas of concentration for the International Office are Study Abroad Program coordination, International Student Services and Cultural and Diversity programming.
Students come to Ohio Dominican with a variety of racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds and the International Office encourages ODU students, faculty, and staff to learn and appreciate the diversity in our community. The International Office provides opportunities for everyone to explore new cultures both on our campus and throughout the world. As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, an understanding and appreciation of other cultures becomes a valuable asset to ODU students.
International students join the Ohio Dominican community from 18 different countries on 6 continents. If you're a student from outside the United States looking for a great education in a friendly environment, Ohio Dominican University is the place for you. The International Office will help facilitate a smooth transition process into the US and, from student visas to cultural adjustment to health insurance to resources in Columbus, we will be here to answer your questions and provide support throughout your entire stay at ODU.
In addition, the International Office facilitates and supports students eager to study abroad by helping to match students' interests, academic program, and career goals to a study abroad program that will foster personal and professional growth. Begin your journey by exploring our website to discover a wide range of overseas opportunities. It is never too early to start planning the adventure of a lifetime!
