October is Food for Fines Month!
2012-10-03
This October, you can pay off your library fines AND contribute to help those in need all at the same time! Each year, the ODU Library participates in Campus Ministry’s Canned Food Drive during the month of October. Acceptable items include any size cans, glass containers or jars, packages such as pasta or sauces, or boxed items such as rice or cereal. Items that are not acceptable include perishable items or items marked “Not Labeled For Retail Sale.” For each can or package of non-perishable food items donated, you can take $1.00 off your total library fines (including OhioLINK fees). The total number donated may cover the total amount of your fines OR any part of the total. We will also accept items for donation if no fines are owed, but will not apply that amount “on credit” toward future fines. for more information.
