- Publication
date
- Library

- Chapter
titles or content notes for many, but not all, items
- Call number

library patron, or is missing

Use the information
in an item's record to:
- Verify
you have found the exact item you are looking for (right author? right
year? etc.)
- Determine
if the item you would like is available
- Locate
the item in the library
- Read a
description of an item or its contents to help determine if it is something
you would like
