Held in Fanjeaux, France for Dominican Colleges and Universities This international study experience brings together faculty, administrators, students and staff from U.S. Dominican schools in the medieval hilltop town where St. Dominic's vision of an order devoted to seeking and sharing the truth took shape. Mornings are spent in study, afternoons in excursions to historic sites in southern France with a focus on places special to Dominicans' early years in the thirteenth century. As a community of learners, we enjoy simple living and superb meals at the Belvedere, a Dominican guest-house. Both programs conclude with four nights in Paris.
Dominican Life of the Mind Lectures Ohio Dominican's Life of the Mind Lectures provides occasions for the community to gather to reflect upon the ideas and events that shape our culture. Co-sponsored by the Center for Dominican Studies, the events feature artists, musicians, intellectuals and critics who contribute to the life of the mind. The lectures are free and open to the public, but reservations are encouraged due to limited seating. Please contact the Center for Dominican Studies for more information on the Dominican Life of the Mind Lectures.
