Environmental Science Degree?
At Ohio Dominican University, the Environmental Science curriculum is taught in the classroom and in nature, all without having to leave campus! We have the benefit of a campus with woodlands and streams, allowing students to gain firsthand experience with natural systems and the living organisms that inhabit them.
The classroom space for Environmental Science has recently been renovated and updated. Additionally, students have new field equipment with which to work. This allows students to gain hands-on experience that is unique and relevant.
Dr. Blake Mathys is the Director of Environmental Science. Dr. Mathys has a passion for the natural world and living organisms, a passion he loves to share with students. His research focuses on birds, but he is excited to learn about all living organisms and the ecosystems that they inhabit.
