Ohio Dominican University proudly hosted the Anesthesiologist Assistant Studies Program White Coat Ceremony for Cohort 4 on Friday, March 13, 2026, in Matesich Theatre.
During the ceremony, 25 students were presented with their white coats, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The tradition symbolizes the successful completion of the program’s didactic “ABCs of Anesthesia” and the transition into clinical education.
The White Coat Ceremony serves as both a celebration of students’ early accomplishments and a recognition of the responsibility they are preparing to take on in the healthcare field. As students move into clinical settings, they begin applying their knowledge in real-world environments, working alongside medical professionals and caring for patients.
Aaron Grabovich, Program Director of the Anesthesiologist Assistant Studies Program, reflected on the significance of the moment and the dedication of the cohort:
“As we recognize the achievements of Cohort 4 in these first eight weeks of the program, I am continually inspired by the dedication, resilience, and professionalism each student brings to our program. Each of their commitments to mastering the science and art of anesthesia reflects the highest standards of our profession. It is an honor to watch each of them grow into compassionate, skilled clinicians who will make a meaningful impact on the patients and communities they serve. Cohort 4, your hard work sets a powerful example for those who will follow, and I could not be prouder of all you have accomplished in the first eight weeks, and all that lies ahead.”
The ceremony highlights Ohio Dominican’s commitment to preparing future healthcare professionals through rigorous academics, hands-on experience, and a strong foundation of compassion and care.
