ODU's Associate of Science in Business provides a thorough introduction to the basic knowledge and skills required for success in the business world.
Students develop the communication skills of business writing and speaking, receive basic introduction to the language and structure of business.

Program highlights:
  • Two-year degree with 62 semester hours.
  • A.S. in Business with an Insurance & Risk Management emphasis is available.
  • Prepares students to advance to the Bachelor’s degree track in Business Administration or other business-related degrees.
  • Course work includes business technology, marketing, management, organizational behavior, insurance and risk management, and economics.
An A.S. in Business including Insurance & Risk Management courses IRM210, IRM220 and IRM301 satisfies the Ohio Department of Insurance agent pre-licensing education requirements and provides complimentary waivers for CPCU520 and CPCU553.
