Peer Tutors
How to Become a Peer Tutor
The ARC employs subject specific tutors, the Write Place drop-in tutors and Academic Coaches.
- Tutors must have a faculty referral
- Tutors must have a 3.0 overall GPA
- Tutors must be eligible for work study
- Tutors must attend all required training
- Tutors must remain in close contact with faculty in their subject area
Steps in the Application Process
1. Complete Tutor Application
2. Faculty complete referral form
3. Interview with ARC staff
