Dr. Sonya Goshe is an Associate Professor and Area Coordinator in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Ohio Dominican University. She has a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine in Criminology, Law and Society , a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an M.Ed. in School and Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia Curry School of Education. During and between her education, she has worked in a variety of roles within criminal justice, especially with respect to youth in the system. In addition to teaching, her scholarship interests center on racial justice, the needs of young people, and the ethics of criminal justice policy and practice.
