Jessica Hall has bachelor’s degrees in Forensic & Investigative Science and Biology. After graduation she worked at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, a branch of the CDC. Dr. Hall earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she researched cell adhesion and its role in cancer. Prior to joining Ohio Dominican, she taught at Bucknell University. 

Dr. Hall's current teaching interests lie in the small end of biology (don’t ask her to go into the field!). Her research focuses on cells and their attachment, especially how this can get disrupted in diseases like cancer and atherosclerosis.
