Biology students will mainly use ODU's Battelle Hall and St. Albert Hall for their classroom instruction and hands-on lab and research projects.

Battelle Hall

Battell Hall is our 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art science building featuring seven instructional labs, three research labs, six core labs, an autoclave, a cadaver lab and collaborative workspace.

The building opened in 2010 with funding in part by a $2.5 million gift from Battelle, the world’s largest independent research and development organization.

St. Albert Hall

St. Albert Hall includes labs, a lecture hall, five general and one computer science classrooms, and two collaboration rooms. There is also a bright, comfortable lounge for studying or simply taking a break.

The labs include clinical, wet, cadaver, simulation - two adult and one pediatric, psychology, and environmental science labs.

Cadaver Labs

Ohio Dominican University offers two cadaver labs on campus for use by undergraduate and graduate students. Working with cadavers delivers an invaluable learning experience for students studying anatomy and physiology, as well as physician assistant studies.

This video is an accurate and respectful depiction of how ODU's students utilize these labs for educational purposes.
