You should receive an email* titled "Time to Create Your ODU Account!" (If you don't see it, it may be in your Spam!) Your ODU email will be the primary way the university communicates with you during your time at Ohio Dominican.

Once you have received your Cost Estimate Worksheet from ODU, book an appointment below with your Admission Counselor to review your financial aid package, and get any questions you may have answered.

Don’t worry – completing the FAFSA is easy. In fact, it’s so easy, 100% of undergraduate students receive some kind of financial assistance. Find out for yourself!

(If you have been randomly selected to submit additional verification documents with your FAFSA application, you will receive an email or letter from ODU with instructions. If you have not been randomly selected, no additional documentation is needed.)

Orientation serves as the official kickoff of your ODU journey!

We’re excited to see you and your families on campus. We schedule multiple orientation dates throughout the year to prepare students for fall and spring admission. Visit our Orientation page for more information about registering and what to expect!

To ensure your academic success, ODU is launching the Accuplacer placement test for all incoming freshmen.

The Accuplacer placement test assesses your reading, writing, and math skills, helping us determine the best courses for you. There is no cost to you to take the test.

If possible, please complete the test before your orientation session or meeting with your academic advisor to receive proper course recommendations and scheduling.

Join us on campus! From Accepted Panther Day to New Student Orientation sessions, PantherPalooza and residence hall tours, there are several opportunities for you to experience campus and settle in here on Sunbury Road before classes begin! See below to sign up for upcoming events!

 

NOTE: You will need to set up your ODU account (a.k.a. get your ODU email login) before you can set your emergency contacts.

  1. Once you have an ODU login, sign in to ODU Online. Visit ohiodominican.edu/ODUOnline

  2. Provide emergency contact information.

    Once logged in to ODU Online at ohiodominican.edu/ODUOnline, click “Students,” then click “Emergency Information” under the Colleague Self-Service menu. Please provide two emergency contacts.

Housing Contract

Students that have submitted their enrollment and housing deposit will be able to register for on-campus housing. You will receive an e-mail from Residence Life to your ODU e-mail with the Housing Contract.

Move-In Day for the 2024-2025 academic year will be Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024.*

Welcome to Slingshot!

ODU's campus bookstore in the Griffin Student Center is run by Slingshot, a course materials auto-fulfillment service.

Think of it as a subscription box for all of your learning materials.

Simply enroll in classes and all of your required course materials will be delivered to you before the first day of class!
