  • Admission Requirements
    Before being considered for ODU’s Air Force ROTC program, you must apply and be admitted to Ohio Dominican University.

  • Air Force ROTC at ODU
    Qualified students interested in obtaining a commission in the United States Air Force may enroll in Air Force ROTC classes through an agreement between Ohio Dominican, The Ohio State University and the United States Air Force.

    There is no military obligation for students in the first two years of the program.

    In addition to courses take at Ohio Dominican, ROTC students take their military courses at The Ohio State University. These courses can be applied to their degree. 
  • Classes at OSU
    ROTC students learn through a combination of classroom instruction and experiential training and education. 

    During the first two years, the General Military Course consist of one hour of classroom work, two hours of leadership laboratory and three hours physical conditioning each week. 

    Classroom topics include leadership, communication skills and national defense policy.
  • Air Force ROTC Scholarships
    Students may apply for Air Force ROTC scholarships. Contact the department for scholarship applications, a summary of the qualifications and the application deadlines.
