Ohio Dominican University’s Wehrle Gallery will host a variety of exhibitions during the 2019-20 academic year that celebrate its theme of “The Year of the Body.”
“The human body is central to our navigation through life as well as our understanding of identity, social and cultural norms, and the pure sensory experiences of being alive,” said Janette Knowles, Ph.D., ODU associate professor of Art and director of the Wehrle Gallery. “The 2019-20 schedule for Wehrle Gallery revolves around three artists, all women, who address some aspect of the human or social body in some way through their works.”
The Wehrle Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free. The gallery is located on ODU’s campus at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219.
