Ohio Dominican University (ODU) has partnered with the City of Gahanna to offer its city employees an opportunity to complete a business-related graduate degree at a discounted rate.

ODU’s Educational Partnership Program gives corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations the ability to provide employees with continuing education options to help their organization foster innovation, identify and keep top talent, and provide employees with the opportunity to enhance their professional credentials.

By being a member of ODU’s Educational Partnership program, benefits may include:

  • Waived application fee to ODU.
  • Cohorts may take as many as three master’s-level classes tuition-free (up to 25% savings).
  • Individuals may take as many as two master’s-level classes tuition-free (16% savings).
  • Five flexible start dates.
  • No GMAT required for admission.
  • Option to attend class on ODU’s campus during the evening, online, or possibly on-site at a location in Gahanna.

Participants may choose to pursue either a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Science in Sport Management at Ohio Dominican.

“I am delighted to partner with our neighbors in the City of Gahanna to help provide its talented and diverse workforce with an opportunity to advance their education by pursuing an ODU master’s degree at a reduced cost,” ODU President Connie Gallaher said. “This partnership will allow us to further support the individual educational aspirations of those who live and work in Gahanna, while providing educational resources to help this community continue to grow and thrive in the years to come. I am grateful to Mayor Jadwin for her leadership and enthusiasm to enter into this exciting partnership with Ohio Dominican.”

“Having a strong team in place is vitally important to the work and services that we perform daily on behalf of our residents,” said Gahanna Mayor Laurie Jadwin. “This innovative collaboration with Ohio Dominican University will enable our team members to pursue vocational and professional growth opportunities that will expand their abilities to serve our community while also creating opportunities for their personal growth. Ohio Dominican University has been a valued partner with the City of Gahanna for many years, and this program represents a positive step forward in strengthening our connection with them. We look forward to the launch of this program and to the possibility of being able to expand its reach throughout the Gahanna community.”

ODU’s partnership with the City of Gahanna is the latest in a series of similar agreements announced in recent years with organizations that include CoverMyMeds, Quantum Health, City of Grove City, Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio.
