Kristall Day, Ph.D., BCBA, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Education with a specialization in Special Education. Prior to joining ODU, Dr. Day was a Senior Lecturer in Special Education and the edTPA Coordinator at The Ohio State University. She has served as a middle and high school intervention specialist and has experience teaching children with mild through intensive disabilities. She currently has licenses in special education, music education, principal grades 5 through 12 and she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Dr. Day's research interests include interventions to increase preservice teachers' generalization of knowledge to the field setting, preservice teacher assessment development and validation, reading and transition curricula for adolescents with disabilities, and interventions to increase on-task behavior of high school students with disabilities.
