Give Up the Gain has been renamed ODU F.I.T. (Focus, Improve & Train) to help better describe the program’s goal of improving participants’ overall wellness.

During this 14-week program for ODU faculty and staff, you’ll work with personal trainers from the Exercise Science Program to help achieve your health and fitness goals.

The first weigh-ins and meetings will take place the week of Jan. 14, and the program will officially kick off the week of Jan. 20.
  • How does it work?
    • Under the direction of Dr. Brad Nelson, students in the Exercise Science program will work as personal trainers with participants.
    • You and your trainer will work in ODU's Fitness Center either before work, during lunchtime, or after work hours to help you stay on track to reach your fitness goals.
