Each year, the ODU community explores one of the themes of our Core CurriculumThe theme for the 2015-16 academic year is Truth.
The theme of Truth will be discussed and emphasized through classroom assignments and discussions, common readings, and community service.

ODU's Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for Dominican Studies will also host talks and lectures throughout the year to provide opportunities for the community to engage in conversation about Truth.

10,000 Service Hours

The ODU community has pledged to complete 10,000 hours of community service by the end of the academic year.

Students, faculty and staff serve the community through food and blood drive, volunteering at food bank and soup kitchens, visiting the sisters at Mohun Health Care Center, participating in Make a Difference days, and more.

Get involved and be sure to track your hours to help us reach our goal!
