Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?
I chose to attend Ohio Dominican because I felt its positive Catholic atmosphere would spur my academic and spiritual development. Additionally, I knew the smaller classroom learning environment experienced at this university would be valuable in allowing me to prosper in my studies as a History major.

How do you stay involved at ODU?
Through ODU’s PATRIOTS Program, I attend Army ROTC courses which have taught me extensively about the values that a real leader possesses. I’m also active in participating in many of the Saint Paul's Outreach ministry events, from prayer following Sunday Mass to participating in fun activities at the Men’s Nights. This, along with my involvement in the Panthers for Life organization, has taught me the power God has to guide the decisions I make in my life when I open my heart to His love.

What is your most memorable moment at ODU?
My most memorable moments at ODU have come from the friends I have made here, especially within the Saint Paul's Outreach ministry, whether it be from renting a cabin during midterm break or simply watching a movie in the dorm.

What do you want to do after graduation?
After graduation I will enter the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant and hope to stay in for my full twenty years, making it my career. I have always wanted to serve since before I entered high school and, ultimately, I found that the Army not only provides the most diverse amount of specialties, but will allow me to transfer my particular job easily into the civilian world when I get out.

What is one unique experience you’ve had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually?
At ODU I have been fortunate to work in the Career Development Center, which has helped me develop my professional portfolio by learning how to properly produce a resume, by assisting students at our career fairs, and even by simply greeting students at the front desk.

Why are you proud to be an ODU student?
I know that the skills and knowledge I have gained at Ohio Dominican through my academic coursework, Army ROTC training, and involvement in student organizations have helped me become a more well-rounded, confident individual. Moreover, I am also certain the experiences I will continue to have during my next three years at ODU will further prepare me for my future career as an Army Officer.
