Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?
I chose to transfer to ODU because I felt welcomed by the community.
How do you stay involved at ODU?
I have stayed involved on campus by participating in the University Chorus, the President's Society, and the Honors Program. Through these organizations and activities, I’ve gained stronger teamwork and leadership skills, as well as new friends.
Have you participated in any internships?
This past summer, I interned at the Delaware County Juvenile Court in the Victim's Services office. I gained a lot of knowledge during my internship about the criminal justice field.
What is your most memorable moment at ODU?
My most memorable moment at ODU was when I was chosen to be a member of the President's Society. I felt immense pride that my hard work had paid off and I was one of a select few who had been chosen to represent the office of the president.
What is one unique experience you’ve had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually?
While at ODU, I’ve had the privilege of having an amazing advisor, Dr. Skovron. She has helped me in so many aspects during my years at ODU and I cannot thank her enough for her contributions in my life, both personally and professionally. When I first transferred to ODU, I was nervous. But I remember my first day in Dr. Skovron's Introduction to Criminal Justice class, I just knew that I was at the right place and on the right career path.
Why are you proud to be an ODU student?
I am proud to be an ODU student because I know I am getting a high-quality education that will prepare me for my career after I graduate.
