  • Former student-athlete on the Men’s Soccer team

Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?
I chose to attend ODU because I liked the thought of learning in smaller class sizes. It also appealed to me because of its location right in Columbus.

How do you stay involved at ODU?
I previously competed on ODU’s Men’s Soccer team, but I recently decided to take my senior year off to focus on my future plans. Once I complete my undergraduate degree, I hope to continue my education by going to law school. I am currently in the application process.

Have you participated in any internships?
My most recent internship was as a Legislative Page at the Ohio House of Representatives. This was a great opportunity to see and experience how government and the legislative process work.

What is your most memorable moment at ODU?
My most memorable moments at Ohio Dominican have always been ODU Day, where everyone comes together and has a good time. It’s a great opportunity for the campus community to let loose and enjoy each other’s company.

What is one unique experience you’ve had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually?
Being a former student-athlete here at ODU forced me to grow and develop into a much more responsible person. It did so by making me manage my time better and helping me understand how my actions may affect my teammates and others around me.

How have you discovered your passion at ODU?
I discovered my passion after coming to ODU as an Accounting major, and realizing not long after that it wasn’t the career path for me. I was always interested in politics and political theory, so I decided to make the switch in major and, shortly after doing so, I discovered my passion for law.

Why are you proud to be an ODU student?
I am proud to be an ODU student because I have met some of the most amazing faculty members here who have pushed me to be the best student and person that I am capable of being.
