Ohio Dominican University (ODU) proudly congratulates the 146 students who earned their degrees at the conclusion of the Spring 2025 semester. Download a complete list of Spring 2025 graduates.
The university celebrated this significant milestone during its 118th Commencement Ceremony, held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, on ODU’s campus.
The event honored the achievements and dedication of the graduates as they prepared to embark on the next chapter of their personal and professional journeys.
Gilda A. Jackson, Colonel (Retired), United States Marine Corps, served as the commencement speaker for the morning ceremony. A trailblazer in military and corporate leadership, Jackson made history in 1997 as the first African American woman in the Marine Corps promoted to the rank of Colonel. A 1975 graduate of Ohio Dominican University, she served 30 years in the Marine Corps and later held executive roles at Lockheed Martin. Jackson has remained a devoted supporter of ODU, receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2000 and serving on the university’s Board of Trustees.
