Graduates of ODU's Integrated Social Studies Education program are prepared to teach a variety of history and social science subjects in grades 7-12.

Graduates of ODU's program will:
  • experience hands-on clinical and field-based experiences in diverse classroom settings prior to student teaching.
  • gain experience with the latest educational technologies to prepare sophisticated and exciting classroom presentations.
  • be well positioned as they enter the job market for teaching positions.
  • be prepared for further graduate study.
