Ohio Dominican takes a variety of factors into account when reviewing a student’s application for admission. Emphasis is typically placed on the student’s academic transcript, since that is usually the best indicator of academic success.
ODU’s admission requirements are established as a guideline, but each student is considered individually for their unique talents and contributions. Ohio Dominican’s Admission Committee makes admissions decisions on a rolling basis.
We encourage students to continue to challenge themselves by taking full advantage of Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities at their high school. To receive college credit, complete the AP exam offered at the end of each AP class. Official score reports can be sent to Ohio Dominican University (College Board code: 1131). Our Registrar’s Office will notify you of the credit or placement awarded.
Your application for admission to Ohio Dominican is also your scholarship application. Your ODU scholarship package is determined based on the application materials turned in.
Outside scholarships can also be applied for on our website as well as through places
like scholarships.com. We highly recommend students apply for outside scholarships!
We also encourage you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our school code is 003035.
