Join us this Friday, Sept. 17, as we celebrate Constitution Day! Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. This holiday is traditionally observed on Sept. 17 because that is the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in Philadelphia.
Celebrate Constitution Day with us this week by taking a look at the Library's Constitution Day Research Guide, where you will find a 5-question quiz. Help us celebrate by testing your knowledge of the Constitution by taking the Library's online quiz competition. Those who complete the quiz and get all the answers correct will be entered into a drawing to receive a fuzzy ODU blanket.
