For the tenth consecutive year, Ohio Dominican University has been named a Military Friendly School by Victory Media. ODU was named a Gold School, ranking it in the top 10 percent of private colleges and universities in the United States that don’t offer a doctorate.
The 2019 Military Friendly Schools list recognizes colleges,
universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace
America’s military members, veterans and spouses as students, and ensure
their success on campus.
Ohio Dominican first launched the PATRIOTS Program more than 20 years ago to meet the educational needs of returning Vietnam veterans. Through PATRIOTS, veterans can achieve their academic goals, pursuing either an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree.
The University reintroduced the PATRIOTS Program in response to the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, also known as the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
