  • ODU Named Top 10 Gold Military Friendly School for 2019

    For the tenth consecutive year, Ohio Dominican University has been named a Military Friendly School by Victory Media. ODU was named a Gold School, ranking it in the top 10 percent of private colleges and universities in the United States that don’t offer a doctorate.

    The 2019 Military Friendly Schools list recognizes colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s military members, veterans and spouses as students, and ensure their success on campus.

    Ohio Dominican first launched the PATRIOTS Program more than 20 years ago to meet the educational needs of returning Vietnam veterans. Through PATRIOTS, veterans can achieve their academic goals, pursuing either an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree.

    The University reintroduced the PATRIOTS Program in response to the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, also known as the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.

  • One of the Top Midwest Colleges for Veterans

    U.S. News & World Report ranked Ohio Dominican University in its 2015 Midwest “Best Colleges for Veterans” list.

    The list recognizes the top schools that offer benefits to help military veterans and active-duty service members apply for, pay for, and complete their college education.

    The rankings include schools that meet each of the following criteria: they are a member of the Servicemember’s Opportunity Colleges Consortium; they are certified for the GI Bill®; and they participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

  • Physician Assistant Studies Highlights
    ODU's Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program class of 2019 achieved a 98 percent first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE). The class now has a 100 percent pass rate.
  • Physician Assistant Early Assurance Program
    ODU offers top high school seniors assured acceptance into its Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program upon completion of their undergraduate studies.
  • ODU-to-OU Med School Early Assurance Program
    ODU and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine partner to offer top high-school seniors assured acceptance into medical school upon completion of their undergraduate studies at ODU.
  • NCAA D-II Women's Elite Eight Returning to ODU
    Ohio Dominican University will host the 2021 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship. ODU also hosted the tournament in 2017 and 2019.
