Periodicals are a type of publication that includes journals, magazines, newspapers, microforms and indexes. Looking for a particular one? We can help!
The ODU library has access to 10,000+ electronic periodicals, and many of our print subscriptions include electronic access as well.
Current and recent copies of our periodicals in print are located on the top floor of Spangler Learning Center in the Theology Reference Corner or on the Browsing Shelf. Reach out to one of our librarians for periodical issues up to 10 years old.

ODU Library's One Search Publication Finder
Are you looking for a particular journal, magazine, or newspaper online? Find a journal online through our One Search. This includes many journals, magazines, and newspapers in our databases.
If you don’t find what you need, ask a librarian for other options!
Multiple EBSCO Dataabase Search
Find a journal online and link to the full text of articles through selected OhioLINK and EBSCOhost research databases. Choose Source SO from the drop-down menu and type in the journal name.
OhioLINK's Electronic Journal Center
In the EJC, you can search for full-text articles or browse journals by title or subject.
Incites Journal Citation Reports
Planning to publish? You can use this database to evaluate & compare journals using citation data.
Find a Journal in Journal Citation Reports
ACS Publications
Provides access to the electronic full-text versions of the over 30 titles published (or co-published) by American Chemical Society.
You can search for a specific publication title in the ODU Library Catalog to see if we have it in print. Note: For online journals, use Publication Finder.
