  • Job Growth in the Tech Industry
There are increasing opportunities for well-trained and well-educated personnel in the growing high-tech job market. Jobs in the high-tech industry are growing faster than other private sector jobs.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, between 2018 and 2028 employment of computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 12 percent, which is much faster than the average for all occupations. This is expected to add more than 546,000 jobs.

In Ohio, we are witnessing some of the fastest tech job growth in the country and at
Ohio Dominican University, we prepare students to take advantage of these opportunities.

ODU offers two of the most the most in-demand degrees in the American workforce today and in the decade ahead: Computer Science and Software Engineering.
